WELCOME
"If you won’t introduce them to difficult ideas, someone else will."
Children, youth, and adults alike wrestle with big questions about faith. If God is good, why does evil exist? How do I know the Bible is trustworthy? What happens after we die?
At Playful Apologetics, we believe that asking questions is a sign of a growing faith—not a lack of it. Through engaging talks, training sessions, and resources, we help equip churches, families, and leaders to navigate these tough theological and biblical questions.
🔹 Clear, age-appropriate answers to the toughest faith questions
🔹 Engaging sessions for churches, schools, and community groups
🔹 Training for pastors, church leaders, and volunteers
🔹 Resources for parents to guide faith conversations at home
Faith isn’t fragile. It can stand up to tough questions.
About Chris Sonnenberg
Chris Sonnenberg is a Systems Design Engineer turned apologist. Like many parents, he started in ministry when he was volun-TOLD to help in the nursery. As the kids grew, so did their questions—and their need for real answers. Recognizing the importance of building a strong foundation of faith, Chris sought ways to equip himself and others to navigate these challenging discussions.
Chris has been married to his wife Lyn for over 20 years, and together they are raising three teenagers. Having lived in Oakville, Halifax, Toronto, Edmonton, and now Ottawa, he has experienced life across Canada, bringing a diverse perspective to his work in apologetics.
To better equip himself to engage with those tough conversations, Chris earned a Master’s in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. Now, through Playful Apologetics, he combines his love for teaching, apologetics, and kids’ ministry to create engaging, interactive presentations that help people explore and deepen their faith.
Credentials:
✅ HBASc in Systems Design Engineering, University of Waterloo
